Can’t tell me I didn’t told ya so
Umm, yea, we all told you so also, but you don’t care for any other views besides yours. We already said, it’s going to be the same model as google and YouTube.

Always interesting to see when States shouldn’t make their own rules.
I read AI is the reason your energy bill is 10 percent higher
A striking 90% of technology leaders said their organizations are creating new budgets specifically for generative AI and LLM projects, up from 85% the year before. That suggests AI is becoming additive rather than substitutive in enterprise tech spending.
Didn’t read, but for what it’s worth , I hate co-pilot on my personal PC and don’t
use it.
Copilot sucks, in a complete non surprise Microsoft created and forced on the worst version of a product
Some of the downsides of AI.
Can’t be, according to the experts here, AI isn’t real.
I don’t know anything about a lot of what you guys are talking about, but I do use it to save myself a great deal of time and effort. I am in b2b sales in a sort of technical industry. Many times throughout the day I’ll get inquiries about product applications from my clients that are being relayed from their customers. I just copy and paste the entire manufacturers specs into Chat or Gemini and have it create a one-pager, or bullet points, depending on the client. I can even make them a full flyer with pretty pictures and junk if they are more on the retail front. Then when the followup questions roll in, I drop those into the chat, copy, paste, send.
What used to bog me down for hours can now be handled in minutes. As far as I can tell, none of my competitors have figured out the formula yet so more and more business owners are leaning on me, creating even more opportunities.
Are you verifying that the responses you’re getting from GPT/Gemini are factual and not hallucinations?
Of course I take the time to look it over before sending, but in the thousands of times I’ve done this, not a single error.
You’d be crazy not use it for stuff like that.
Hey the detractors can still use the same anti EV bullet point, it’ll take down the grid!
I have not had that experience. Ive observed it using a single data point to
make an argument, but overlooking, or failing to comprehend, the other somewhat
contradictory data points. So it’s good but bad at the same time.
Of course how you’re using it and how I use (only for personal stuff) are different.
The old “your mileage may vary” thing.
I have also experienced halucinations from AI, as well as it giving contradictory answers on an issue. I will say that the tax issue it gave contradictory answers on - there was no clear answer or guidance in the tax code, legal cases or research materials.
I’m still laughing about Johnny posting about the ceasefire in Gaza and Gemini citing him as a source
Forgot about that.
I was in debate in high school and we may (or may not) have created some very reliable looking websites to reference in our own arguments, right before they required cited websites to be .edu or at least a legit website. ![]()
