Does anybody know when we will get information on how to get tickets to this game from our ticket office? I called the ticket office about a week ago and they had no idea.
Ridiculous, but not surprisingā¦
Iāll probably just buy them on the secondary market the day ofā¦
I mean, it is still 2+ months away, but Iām probably going to need 5 or 6 tickets. I only have 3 season tickets.
I signed up on the ESPN Events app to get notified when presale starts.
I donāt think they will have a dedicated UH section or ticket allotment for this game.
Probably the same method as the game vs Arkansas last year in Newark, NJ as I bought it off the secondary market.
I signed up on the ESPN events site for notifications about tickets. I am assuming one tickets gets you in for both games, and with Duke playing tickets might be $$$.
Our ticket office such a joke lol
I asked Cougar Pride about this last month, this is what they said:
We will have a UH block of tickets available to donors and season ticket holders but we do not have a date yet. Last I knew, the event hosts were still finalizing a contract with another institution. Once that is done, weāll be able to move forward on tickets.
To be fair, they arenāt available on Ticketmaster or MSG either.
Blame James Dolan lol
I think some people just like to complain about the ticket office if they donāt get instant answers on stuff where thereās no answer available yet. In my dealings with the ticket office over the 50 years I have been a season ticket holder, I have never had a bad exxperience.
But you have to remember, they have students working there part time and may be new and just donāt know the answer. But, if you call the Cougar Pride rep, he/she will get you taken care of.
I have not had a Cougar Pride rep since March. Not complaining, just stating facts. I do not understand how a replacement has not been made. My former rep was AMAZING.
I forgot who my actual rep was, but I just called CP and it was taken care of. If I remember correctly the name of the man who took care of it was Jeff Mason.
Jeff M. is very very good and easily reachable - always responding to VM or emails himself or through a rep.
Are you sure? I got an email from my new one in August. I donāt always look at the Cougar Pride emails as they come in, maybe you missed it.
I agree with Katie and in the same boat. I do not have a Ticket office rep, since last March. I realize there was a change in person overseeing the department in the summertime but surprised it is taking so long.
I am positive. I have asked Jeff about it an annoying number of times. Still do not have a repā¦no clue why.
It is unacceptable that Cougar Pride donors are without a direct contact person for months. I would think as an interim measure, current staff would take on the Cougar Pride āorphansā, until someone is hired and trained. The one thing Cougar Pride cannot do is alienate its biggest UH supporters. Whatever is going on in the Cougar Pride office, it doesnāt sound good. Mismanagement like this can reverse positive Cougar Pride work very quickly. That would be a shame.
I hate to be snarky, but how can UH expect to attract new donors when this is how they treat current donors?
Great timing/scheduling! Watch Coogs beat āBama in the early game and then head out to dinner
