The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has updated the timeframe of their scheduled lane closures on HWY 59 at HWY 90.
Northbound lanes will close on Friday, October 21 at 9 p.m. and will reopen once work on the northbound lanes has been completed. This is expected Saturday afternoon.
Southbound lanes will then close and are expected to reopen on Monday, October 24 at 5 a.m.
TxDOT anticipates all work to completed on Monday morning and will not need the additional nightly closures as anticipated.
Northbound lanes detour: Begins at the HWY 90 exit ramp, traveling northbound on the HWY 59 feeder road, and will end at the HWY 59 northbound entrance ramp before Kirkwood. In addition, the northbound and southbound HWY 59 turnaround at HWY 90 will be closed.
Southbound lanes detour: Begins at HWY 90 exit ramp, traveling southbound on HWY 59 feeder road, and will end at HWY 59 southbound entrance ramp before Dairy Ashford. In addition, the southbound and northbound HWY 59 turnaround at HWY 90 will be closed.
