I wonder to what extent the MWC has given UTSA a look-over. I’d suspect so. Their best entry into the Texas I would think. Not sure who (if anyone) they would bring along with them though. Also, UTSA needs to start winning. But the potential is definitely there as long as the city doesn’t get an NFL team.

They’ve looked at UTEP off and on. Miners aren’t anywhere respectable so there’s no point to it right now. If UTEP does eventually moves over, UTSA might go with them. However, they may be waiting for UH to move up as they’d be a top choice to replace the Coogs in the American.

Nope - UTSA is part of the uta system, and the latter will NEVER let UTSA amount to very much!

Is the MWC that big of a jump up from CUSA these days? Also I would take UNT before UTSA if I had a choice. I heard our game @Denton is going to be on Facebook. No channel, Facebook like the Clearwater baseball tournament.
