I read another article on it where McDonald’s said they aren’t necessarily increasing employees, at least not by 375,000. From the AP:
“McDonald’s stressed that the new hires will be for permanent positions. But that doesn’t mean the company expects its U.S. workforce to exceed 1.1 million people by the end of the summer. The hiring takes into account that there are always a lot of workers coming and going at McDonald’s.”
Pretty cryptic comment honestly. In any case, not exactly good jobs as you noted.

Chinese also left their agriculture retaliation tariffs.
We also gave in on not going after them for retaliating which we said we would.

Two sources say two slightly different things. You don’t know which is right, neither do I.
But AP quotes McDonald’s in their article. I would assume they know what they’re talking about. Maybe they misspoke, idk. You can ignore it. That’s fine.
In any case, no reason to act like you’re acting.
If you used a gram of brainpower, hiring 300,000 by summer, is absurd. I’m sure you couldn’t afford it
