Kansas offense looked a lot like what Tulane has ran the past few years but with much better athletes.
They actually did point out multiple times that a KU player just beat a UH player 1 on 1, that a UH defender was there to make a play but didn’t. Also threw out the line “its not about the X’s and O’s, its about the Jimmy and Joes”

By the way, can anyone tell me if under Holgi we’ve ever run the shuttle pass to Dell coming under the offensive line to the opposite side of the field?
I mean come on, ya gotta get that guy in the open field. That’s a play that I thought would be part of the HC arsenal like way back in the day when he ran an exciting, innovative offense at UH that’s now turned into a playbook demonstrating offensive playcalling for people new to football.

Yeah, but sadly that play only works with Bo Jackson or Kevin Mack!
That guy is running the offense CDH wants to run. Look at his O’s at WVU after 2012, pretty much the same.

Agreed. I don’t think a new OC will solve all the problems with the offense. Dana created the scheme. It’s HIS offense that Dawson is running. With that said, Dawson does a poor job of playcalling and making in-game adjustments, and he’ll probably be the first assistant fired if the season doesn’t improve,
His offense is outdate.
