While watching Florida St vs Stanford, one of the announcers said Caleb Mills, while at UH, spent much of his time injured. Then, at Florida St, he was hampered by injury, but now, a healthy Caleb was a major contributor to Florida States success this year. They are 1 and 5 and looking at losing their 6th game to Stanford right now . . . . .

Too many announcers feel they have to talk as opposed letting the audience just watch the game. After all, this is TV, there is no dead time except for commercials.
Maybe, they just like to hear themselves.

There were times they just cut Walton’s mic so they could go to commercials.
