Antisemitism can't be ignored

Everyone is entitled to this.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

A person’s speech can be stupid and ignorant but it is protected by the good old first amendment.

Not one person here said otherwise. Free speech doesn’t mean free from consequences, unless you have more money than anyone else in the world.

Are these Jews antisemitic?

I don’t know what the solution is to the Palestine/Israel issue is …but it includes stuff like that. Need to see more examples from both sides.

Good question, wonder whether their citizenship’s will be revoked.

Can someone also explain why if anyone protests Netanyahu’s government or administration, they are automatically branded antisemitic.

You can protest Bush’s administration, Obama’s or even the current administration but woe to you if disagree with Bibi’s administration.

So, not a question about the actual issue…classic.

The anti-semitism continues at America’s elite universities.

This time…it’s MIT.

Now you define pro Palestinian as Antisemitism?

And the anti-Semitism continues.

I do. Palestinians elected hamas. hamas turned this territory as a terrorist heaven that has one goal. Exterminate Israel and all Jews. Palestinians had a choice to get rid of hamas a long time ago. They did not. Therefore it is Antisemitism. Calling a spade a spade.

By that logic Israel is anti-islamic.

What’s your answer Law, any scrutiny of the Israel government is antisemitism now? We no longer have the free speech to criticize another country’s government? Because that government is Jewish?

Not all.

But if you heard her entire speech, it’s pretty bad.

That article sanitizes it a bit.

So I’ll once again say the purpose of this thread was not to debate the Palestinian Israeli conflict.
Both sides can chicken and egg the conflict to justify their terrible actions. Its a war right?

Are you saying that Israel should stop fighting as long as its citizens are still being held hostage?

The USA sure as Hell wouldn’t.

I can’t ask Israel to do anything else.

See how we’re not talking about Antisemitism

No, I don’t see.

It’s all about one side wanting to destroy Israel and either kill or forcibly deport its citizens, 75% of which are Jewish, and the other mostly Jewish side fighting for its lives and security.

Sure sounds like a battle against anti-Semitism to me!

I don’t believe Israeli should be killing and maiming Palestinian kids. That doesn’t make me anti-sematic.
College students, like all Americans have the right to protest war, even ones done by the Jewish state of Israeli.
Putting any critism toward that government here, is disingenuous to me amd defeats and takes away from the purpose of the thread.
We should never use faith as way a not be criticized

I doubt they are being intentionally targeted and killed.

In WWII we bombed the crap out of Germany and Japan and killed/maimed plenty of children.

Was that worth it?

Just asking.

As long as we weren’t intentioanally targeting them, it presents no legal problems.

How do YOU recommend that Israel go about defeating Hamas and securing the release of the hostages?
