Any notion that the Catholic Church is anti-Zionist absolutely flies in the face of that and is false.
OF COURSE the Catholic Church recognizes Israelâs right to exist. If that werenât the case, then they wouldnât have an ambassador (Nuncio) to Israel.
Granted, the Vatican has also criticized some of Israelâs recent actions, and also calls for a two-state solution; they also recognize a Palestinian Arab state.
But anti-Zionism is obviously NOT Catholic teaching, and anybody on the committee like Boller that is trying to claim that SHOULD be sacked.
