Antisemitism can't be ignored

Exactly what is anti-Semitic about this?

Surprising considering that Kinkaid probably the most conservative school in Houston

Calling it ā€œIsrael’s war in Gazaā€ is a lie. Hamas started the war.

Supporting a group whose mission is to eliminate Jews is anti-Semitic.

But you knew that.

Showing a map that does not include Israel is anti-Semitic. But you knew that.

How about the fact that Israel isn’t depicted, and the whole area is described as ā€œPalestine?ā€

Anti-Zionism IS Anti-Semitism.

Another shocking act of Anti-Semitism on our college campuses.

Hillel is a place where a Jewish students meet to worship and celebrate holidays.

How do you explain the anti-Zionist Jews?

One of the reasons I really wanted my son to go to Alabama was the vibrant Jewish community. Not only do they have a Hillel House, but there is a synagogue right behind it.

He’s going to UNT. They have a Hillel that gathers in the Student Union, but no dedicated building. They also have a Jewish fraternity.

See Bobby Fischer.

Certain things are hard to comprehend.

To be fair, that guy later converted to two different Christian denominations (not sure the WCOG is truly Christian, but I’ll be generous), but often expressed anti-Semitic attitudes throughout his life, despite being raised by a Jewish Mother.

My undergrad college had a Hillel chapter with its own building and very active student participation.

CWU? The son of a good friend is there and very active.

What if the map is about Palistinians and where they have historically lived?

That’s not anti-semitic.

And to law, if all criticism of Israel is antisemtic then conversely, Israel is an anti palistinian, anti Muslim, antichristian state by definition.

Not all criticism of Israel is anti-Semitic, but anti-Zionism and Israel denial/rejection/negation certainly is.

Arabs live lots of different places.

Those boundaries depicted are Israeli boundaries being falsely characterized as the boundaries of something other than Israel.

My bad.

Except that wasn’t the question

Easy. They are ignorant and wrong.

The message you were supposed to get is that a person can be ignorant and bigoted and or hold ignorant and bigoted beliefs despite their background.

See Bobby Fischer as an example.

The idea that a ā€œsingle example proves the ruleā€ is a logical fallacy known as Proof by Example or Hasty Generalization

He’s not the only example.

He’s simply a good example to illustrate the point.

Ever heard of a closeted gay politician that takes anti-gay positions?

Same principle.

Just because you can find a few Jews that have anti-Zionist views doesn’t mean that anti-Zionism isn’t anti-Semitism.
