The best part of not playing those schools was reducing the chance of injuries. The will be quite fresh for Alabama.

Texas pass TT up??? How?
Tech’s best win is Abilene Christian. Their resume sucks so far. UT has at least beat North Carolina and Indiana.

As much as I hate to say it, Texas does have a better resume than TT right now. Texas has a W and L against ranked teams while TT just has an L against a ranked team and the rest of UT’s schedule has been significantly stronger than Tech’s to this point in the season. That will change (and help us) if Tech can knock off Kansas this Thursday.
