- Don’t know…
A LOT of teams lost this week that were in the AP Poll. Just not the teams we needed to lose… (UM, Clem)
I think strength of schedule will eventually move coogs down to 8-10 until we play UL. If we win that game and stay undefeated, I would imagine that gets us in the conversation which is what we want. We don’t have a spot reserved as an undefeated G5 team, which is correct. It should be hard for a G5 team to ascend to the championship game, just as it should be for a shaky one loss or a good two loss team from a P5.
Louisville did us a huge favor by keeping their loss to Clemson in doubt until the last play. They will be ranked either near us or ahead of us for the time being, which is great. We seem to be getting everything we’ve wanted out of the season including marquee games, national recognition, and other teams trying to steal our coach.
Just no P5 invite, yet.
I think Washington leapfrogs us and we stay 6th.
Maybe, but I don’t see them jumping us for beating a team ranked below us. Their win was pretty dominant, though, so that may be enough.
