I haven’t noticed Edgerrin at a single home game this year, nor seen him on one away broadcast. That seems odd compared to last year, maybe more given Jizzle’s struggles? Is there something to this?

It means Jizzle is considered gone after this year, most likely will end up at Houston where we will face off twice against him and he will destroy us and have an all conference type season.

We are ranked #5 in coaches poll and have been for two weeks now. Interesting that we are only one point ahead of Florida this week where last week we were eight points ahead.

ETA: Florida remains ranked ahead of us by 36 points in the AP.

LOL, true.

Jizzle’s dad wanted him to transfer to Houston.

Kansas moving up 1 after losing at home to UH is a head-scratcher. Kansas should not be rewarded in the rankings for collapsing at the end against UH.

Is it still something he is considering? I also wonder how he would fit in next season with how deep the roster is looking.

Glad TT is ranked. While I don’t like them they deserved it last week. We will have our hands full, just have a feeling.

Close road losses to KU and UCF would’ve knocked us down to #20 from #6?

Close road losses to KU and UCF would have given us 5 losses. I don’t remember what we were ranked going into the UCF game (maybe 10-15?), but losing that one would have knocked us down 5-7 spots, imo.

Losing to KU wouldn’t have hurt us nearly that much, but it would have been a second road loss and reinforced the thought that we were only home monsters.

Seems like the B12 loses a team in the ranking and gains one every week. Last week it was WVU this week its Tech.

Also this makes 98 consecutive weeks ranked. Thats good for 18th all time.

We should go on the Cincy boards and put up a Missing Persons poster for ol’ Justin.

UConn barely stays in
3-3 vs Q1
3-2 vs Q2
3-1 vs Q3. 2 of those wins by 3 or less. 1 in OT

Memphis moves up 5 beating WSU and UAB

Win at Kansas and a couple of pollsters LOWERED us in the polls…

Yes, we are only 1 point ahead of Florida. But, we gained 12 points. Just like the AP poll, the positions are consolidating.

I’m not going to lose any sleep over that. The lowest any of the 4 has us ranked is #6. Take care of business this week and i think we’ll be #4 or #5 based on other games.

If you want to complain, complain to these voters:

Yeah, I just feel like it’s weird. One of them had us 3rd last week and dropped us to 5th with Bama and ISU vaulting us. I just don’t get it to be honest.

However all of the pollsters that had us laughably low finally came around, lowest last week was 18, this week it’s 9th. At least that’s something
