Jon Rothstein has become a Big 10 shill….doesn’t even have UH in his top 10.

The two major polls have us #6 and #7, Lunardi has us on the 2 seed line….and Vegas has us as the 5th best choice to win it all.

Take the Big 12 top 5 vs the Big 10 top 5 on a neutral court and we are going 5-0 or 4-1.

Big 10 plays the large majority of their conference games against absolute garbage teams.

In the Big 12 just about every team can beat the best in conference on any given night.

Big 10 will fold like always and get maybe 2-3 teams to the second weekend.

They look good because they’re playing against overrated schools. Just a reminder that the Big 12 dominated the SEC this year. Overall record was 15-6. And many of the games were blowouts;

Arizona beat Bama by 21 in Bham
Tech beat LSU by 24 in Ft Worth
K State beat MSU by 21
Kansas beat Mizzou by 20 in KC
OSU beat Aggy by 24
UCF beat Aggy by 12 on road
ASU beat OU by 16
ISU beat MSU by 16

Big 12 teams beat first place Florida twice. Second place Bama. Third place Hogs. Tied for 4th Missouri and Tennessee.

But somehow they get the love.

SEC had the worse non-con winning % out of the power four. That should count for something.

I will say, I’m incredibly jealous of your corn knowledge. Perhaps one day I’ll get there with peaches.

This is not limited to peaches, but just about anything else would be more useful and delicious to know anything about than corn lol.

The vast majority of what we grow ends up in your gas tank. Like roughly 85-90% of it. That’s the dirty little secret lol. It pays the bills, that’s about it. About 8-10% ends up in feed. A very small fraction ends up in things like high-fructose corn syrup and the literally millions of household products you use every day.

It’s essentially inedible for human consumption, which should make u think twice about that soda addiction you all have :rofl:

Dont ever take a job detasseling is a lesson for the young ones

I have a cousin that lives in Indiana. Has a big house in a semi rural area next to corn fields (not his)

The saying is that at night when it’s quiet you can hear the corn plants grow

To this day not sure if they were pulling my chain

EDIT: I guess it’s true

Can you hear the corn grow? Yes! | CropWatch | Nebraska.

I saw the 2nd to last show he did before his death. Soundgarden played at Starlight in KC, one of the best venues in the country, on a Sunday night. The weather was great, the show was fantastic, but I noticed Chris kep going behind the audio equip/side amps between songs. It seemed a little odd, but I thought he was maybe smoking a J (which was also weird as KC hasnt cared about that stuff in decades).

At the time I was a little ā€œupsetā€ they didnt play Pretty Noose. I then awoke to the news of his death Wedneday morning, following their Detroit show Tuesday night. It was a weird feeling, having a great you just saw die…like it was surreal. Once the detail emerged it then made me wonder if Pretty Noose was omitted for a reason. It made me feel…guilty…
