They’re still undefeated tho. #11 in NET, #17 in KP, #19 in BT. Not sure what voters are supposed to do when they keep winning and teams in front of them lose. They’ll lose eventually and end up about where there metrics say they are but until then they will keep climbing up as the AP Poll is King of the Hill oriented.

I do not want to hear anything about Vandy or Nebraska… that is a big joke. They are not suddenly great bball schools after being completely medicore for the last 50 years. With Michigan losing we have the best case for any 1 loss team… and we had a great week lask week with 2 Quad 1 wins.
They’ve looked too good all season to drop that far. They’ll be around 4-6 more than likely as it would take another loss by them or a big win for us to jump them.

lol you can’t talk up our quad 1 wins and then downplay Vandy and Nebraska when they have better Q1 records than us. lol what are we doing here? And ya can’t say we have the best case for a 1 loss team when Duke is sitting there with a 7-1 Q1 record to our 4-1. The math ain’t mathing, my guy.

Simple math… we start #2 in the poll and got hammered for a 3 pt loss to Tenn and have been playing catchup ever since. Duke lost to Tech… we beat Tech. Purdue got smoked by Iowa St at home. Michigan lost to a medicore Wisky team at home and barely beat a lousy Penn St team by 2 this past week. Maybe I give you UConn…but is only a matter of time there.
Dropping from #3 to #8 is not getting hammered. Nether our record nor our metrics are Top 3 at the moment and having a Coog Victim Syndrome ain’t going to change that lol being mad at reality is a choice. Especially when you can just enjoy the journey and improvement the team is currently making.

Yup I saw this and fully expect to get hosed today… I figure there a higher chance the AP clowns put Vandy or Nebraska in front of us then moving up. Somehow Michagan losing will barely impact them but we got dumped to 8 when we lost to a ranked Tennesse team back in Nov.
Tennessee shouldn’t be ranked.
Nobody on this board should be worried about our current ranking. The top 2 teams in the country are big12 and we get to play them. It will sort itself out. We just need to win our games.

Seeing folks become as deluded about the Coogs as Purdue fans are about their team is hilarious…
interesting take when we already moved up in the most recent poll and vandy being ranked in the top 10 is appropriate even though that noncon is michigans with a much worse mte 
if there’s any top 3 seed i’d pick to lose early in the tournament its prob nebraska by a good margin though who behind them should realistically be ahead of them lol

100% agree, nobody should. Especially because most of the teams ahead of UH are essentially maxed out. They can only be as good as they’ve shown themselves to be at some point this season already. No doubt elite, but still more or less maxed out on their potential.
Houston, on the other hand, has been very recently taking these BIG leaps forward every single game, it seems. And we all knew it’d take time to gel as a relatively newly re-constructed team. Flemings and Big Snacks’ growth and talent alone account for most of this.
But I’d also throw in much of this has beeen done with an often MIA Uzan, a streaky Sharp, essentially no Big depth, and really no 6th man, either.
Add that to the fact that history has shown you REALLY only need to be in like… the top 12 range… to be a natty contender.
Some of these comments seem kind of spoiled and elitist to me…which is understandable… but definitely a bit out-of-touch. #7 is really really really good lol.
