Is going to be exciting to watch the bowl game this year, just to see how the team will look under coach MA.
CMA is working with a skeleton staff right now. Who the heck knows how we will look, but it probably will not be indicative of what happens next year.

I wouldn’t take much from it. We looked great in the Ticket City Bowl in Levine’s first game.

Sumlin also didn’t take half the coaching staff with him before the bowl.
That game was basically Kliff catching the scoreboard on fire…and Penn State hoping the season would just end.

Good Point about it probably not being indicative of what we will look like next year. Also, even though Orlando is a great guy I’m not sure how much his heart can be into the game as well. It will give us an idea of how he manages a game and some of his philosophies, but playing a bowl game vs. an in season conference game are different. Still will be cool to see the Major at work.
There were a boatload of seniors on that team that had a lot to play for in that last game (which is why most of us were so ticked off that Sumlin quit on them). I think this bowl game could give us a good idea of how much the players are on board with the hiring of Applewhite. From what I’m reading on social media, sounds like the vast majority are excited about the hire.
That Ticket City Bowl could have gone either way. The team was one game away from playing in the Sugar Bowl. They were coming off that loss. Many reasons to show up at that game…many reasons not to. Levine and staff did a good job keeping the players on task, and the players responded.

“if you are here” That isn’t a good sign when the AD doesn’t even know if the DC is at the press conference or not. Means they have completely gave up on him.
Wow, wonder if he’s still coaching the team in practice. I suppose so but the AD didn’t know if he’s in the room.
Wonder why he hasn’t accepted a UT offer yet. They’re going for “bigger fish” first?
Didn’t seem like he was even looking like he did for the others. Probably just said it to make it not seem as bad that he wasn’t there.

Loved having Ward announce him as the head coach. Shows how much he means to the team.
