If Sharp or Uzan regress so much, that a freshman could surpass them in the depth chart
They would transfer.
We’re a defensive team 1st. Sharp knows the defense 100x better than a incoming freshman

Soooo, the new mantra on this board is determining who will leave EARLY for the NBA or who will be the first to transfer.
Let’s see…… only a few have left early for the NBA in CKS tenure. All but 1 probably regretted it and I can only think of 1 good player who transferred…… and he probably regretted it.

Agree on the transfer thing, as for guys leaving early the only one that stands out as staying another year would have helped is Hinton.

Probably true. Brooks wasn’t drafted because he couldn’t create his own shot. And perhaps another year in college might have helped enough in developing his ability to create his own shot to garner a second round pick.
I am not really going to put our other players down but when it comes to taking or making the big shots Sharp and Roberts are willing to put it on their shoulders.

UH needs TA back healthy, BUT we need ALL of these guys. Sampson is sticking as many guys and combinations as he can think of out there. He does this every year, and it usually works out OK in the Dance. I think TA will really take off around the end of February. Sometimes a player can watch from the sidelines and learn a lot, and TA will come back as a better player.
I’d like to see Francis/Tugler/TA/Sharp/Milos 5 get some minutes.
