Amazing how much depth we have at CB for next season considering we had 1 CB last season and a safety having to play the other side.

Whether it works or not is very much TBD, but you can’t fault the work this staff’s done to remake a position group that was a smoldering crater when they arrived.

Just a 180 degree turnaround. Williams and maybe Green or Jones or Smith. Two or three others in the mix as well. I don’t see any holes on defense. We could use a third NT, and I think the staff is looking for one. But every other position is pretty much three-deep, and we’re talking talented players, not just walk ons used for depth because there’s no one else, not that some walk ons aren’t really good players.

I’m only concerned about our Tackles on the offensive line next season. Not too concerned, though. Patrick Paul is going to be a beast for us.

Yes, offensive tackle is my big concern as well. I was really blindsided by Williams’ transfer. Just doesn’t make sense to me unless maybe he was unhappy with the move to LT. I don’t know. I’m hoping Unije will step in and play well. I’m also high on Paul, but offensive linemen often take a couple of years to really develop. There’s solid depth at guard, especially if Brayon Jones stays there. If so there’s Jones, Pancotti, Murphy, Bardwell, and Banes, maybe Cam’Ron Johnson unless they’re playing him at tackle. Seems as if moving Bardwell back to OT where he played his first two years would make sense, but what do I know?
