Artemis 2 the Moon

The countdown to tomorrows 5:24 pm CST launch of a manned mission to the Moon has started. Our last manned trip was in 1972, so this seems like kind of a big deal.

Crazy that this is the first I’ve heard about it…!

Technically, they’re not landing on the moon but going to circle it and come back…

They have a really cool section of it at JSC if you ever want to check it out.

Right - not a mission to go hit golf balls off the surface. :slightly_smiling_face: It’s still crazy that we haven’t sent a manned mission there in so long.

It’s a validation test. I was hoping to see it while on spring break but they kept delaying it. Hope it goes well.

We can go to the moon but can’t feed or have free healthcare? Come on!

Went to Johnson space center 3 weeks ago and saw this and i can’t believe we’re barely doing this again. Theyre not going to land there until 2028 i believe but still a big deal.
