So looks like this rocket (Boeing SLS) isn’t destined for a moon landing. Artemis 3-4 will be a docking mission with either Blue Origin or Starship. I guess, Boeing dropped the ball.
They didn’t win the bid back in 2019 for the
HLS. No big deal in and of itself …but a last
minute attempt to revise their bid after a Nasa guy told them they weren’t going to win, during the no contact phase, resulted in some legal investigations and ethics violations.
Anyways, back in Apollo days, the LM (lunar module) was built by Grumman and Rockwell built the command and service modules. So we are keeping that tradition of mix and match alive /s
lol - $10 diesel, $20 wings but a ship to the moon for what exactly lol
plenty of videos from artemis 2 take off, as seen from planes; actual take off, path around this planet; if you are into artemis 2 hype, kinda of boring to me; voyager crossing the heliopause; that was interesting.: [https://x.com/CuriosityonX]
You see when you want to you too can be funny. Good job.

fyi, Netflix will live stream Artemis II’s lunar flyby tomorrow
I was listening to the NASA live stream and apparently they passed Cody Campbell’s ego near the orion belt
Is the coloring due to minerals ?
Space travel problems are real.
Good luck Artemis ll.
Almost home.
13 minutes until splashdown
Incredible mission
Science can still be cool
There’s an ongoing thread about that.
