Just picked up a copy of Athlon’s College Football Preview.

Marcus Jones is a 1st team Pre-Season All-American Punt Returner

They’ve picked us to finish 3rd in the AAC, with a 8-4/5-3 record.

They project us to play San Jose State in the Hawaii Bowl.

Kody Russey, Derek Parish, and Dalton Witherspoon are 2nd team pre-season All-AAC at Center, D-Line, and Kicker respectively.

Christian Trahan is pre-season 3rd team All-AAC at TE.

The write up is high on 350 lb. aTm O-Line transfer Tank Jenkins. Can anyone tell us what he is like? It also predicts Iowa State transfer Latrell Bankston to get a lot of playing time on the D-line.

The final analysis agrees that the schedule is favorable and that 8-10 wins should be the expectation.

Derek says he is literally a tank. He has good hands, says he is basically a brick wall. Really, really good and a really nice guy. Was a starter at TAMU. I asked him specifically what he thought about him.

I’m looking for D’anthony Jones to have an impactful year . When he played last year he was a disruption to the opposing offenses
