Hey, the 2 years I lived in DFW, the only timeI saw the News mention UH was when Piland retired because of concussions. (They act as though Houston don’t exist, unless it is negative.)
Couldn’t wait to get back to the greatest City in the World, Houston!

A guy who works for me in Dallas graduated from Tech in 2013. He went to Cy-Fair HS and a bunch of his buddies went to Tech. He says it’s the place where all your friends can go. He did well and graduated. Many did not. After graduation he worked shift work in the oil field. Seeing it wasn’t going anywhere he got a MS in Finance at UTD and is settled in Wylie (NE of Dallas). He didn’t attend the game but if he was a few years younger he’d probably have gone with some of his frat buddies. I wanted to go but it was my daughters birthday and wife wouldn’t go with me.
UH draws well in DFW from the non-Greek seeking high school grads. Our Dallas high school sends as many to OU and Arkansas as A&M. UT is by far #1. Majority go Greek.
