Just remember the only decent regular season game RP has left is highly ranked Hightower. The rest of the games are against horrible competition.
First team players probably won’t play more than a half in those games. No one will be padding their stats including Austin.
He proved himself in the first three games against highly rated teams

I can’t make it to the Ridge Point game tonight. I’ll be watching the Ridge Point marching band at a competition. If anybody goes, please post updates on how Carlisle does today.

We will be there at Hall tonight. I don’t look for most of the starters to play much more than a half but you never know

Carlisle and company literally destroyed Bush tonight.
No need for stats as Bush is really bad. I mean really bad lol.
Left at half with the score 49-0. Final was 56-zip.
Carlisle is very good.

Bush falling off as a program is really crazy. I remember when they were producing a lot of D1 guys

Butch, I saw Johnny Manziel play live many times in HS.

Austin reminds me of him a bit from what I have seen on video.

What is your take?

Carlisle has a little crazy in him but has toned down a little this year.
Last year it was like he was looking for someone to run over when he took off. He rarely ran out of bounds.
This year he is playing smarter but at the same time does not fear taking a hit.
He does remind me a little of Manzeil.
Not saying he will win a Heisman at UH but he is going to have Cougar fans on their feet.
Kid has great vision, great wheels and his teammates look up to him.
At times he gets a little wild and throws passes he shouldn’t, but what quarterback doesn’t.
He is a perfect qb for Fritz’s offense.
Not sure he will start next year,but if he does he just might shock some folks.
