Good Lord, just let the kid enjoy playing high school ball! And let Dream enjoy watching!
The kid is competitive and I am sure he is good enough to go somewhere he can play regularly.
Yeah if itâs a choice between D1 scholarship playing or PWO. I would assume you take the scholly 98% of the time. Itâs not just about the money/paying for school itâs a playing time and respect thing. No different than out in the world where money isnât just about the paycheck but is the representation of how you are valued.
But if he has minimal interest all the way around ,and wants to continue his bball journey I would think weâd definitely extend a PWO to a legacy.
Drexlerâs kid was a walk on
Sure. The point wasnât his scholarship status. Just the fact that he was Drexlerâs kid. A Legacy. A PSJ Legacy, even.
Heâs made a career for himself overseas apparently
How old is Aziz? He has pretty good handles. Curious if he grows a bit more. If he gets to 6â8â and maintains the dribbling and shooting skills, he could turn into a quality SF/PF recruit
Man, i wish UH BB would court the Marine Corp for some NIL. That analogy is spot on!
Was not a Sampson team.
So?
2014-2015 team.
And he quit I think - but he wasnât a d-1 athlete -
Prefered Walk On.
There are no more walk ons. Everyone is on scholarship. Same for football. NCAA.
I donât remember him quiting. At any rate, heâs listed on the 2014-2015 team roster on UHCougars.com.
