Our DBs seemed to be where they should be. I did not see broken coverages like last year. It was a huge issue last year almost all year.
We seemed to have a man near every receiver.

Listened to Malik Fleming’s postgame interview and I think we were missing combination of pre-snap film study skills and playmaking. Having some of the new guys like Malik plus Hogan back should make a big difference.
Good defensive showing. In good hands with Belk.
He has learned lessons from last year. So far so good for the defensive side of the ball.

It wasn’t flawless but it was extremely encouraging. That and our discipline were the two biggest improvements from last year.
