Yes, Sam, want to know how it really shakes out?

The grass is always greener. Maybe this will help.

They are down to nine schools and have lost both the LA and Denver markets.

It’d SHOCK me if the dollar value of this deal equals that of the Big 12.

And if by some miracle it does, it may be so streaming oriented that the lack of exposure may not be worth it.

If it was going to, then Colorado would still be in the PAC.

It’s going to be @ $20 mill per and 90% streaming at a minimum.
Probably some language that indicates escalator clauses that can get them closer to $30 million of viewership numbers / subscriber numbers reach a certain threshold.

It’s going to be incentivized to hell based on subscriptions/eyeballs. GK is working with Cal/Stanford hacker nerds to scheme ghost VPNs and fake accounts to inflate the numbers and reach those incentives. All part of his master plan.

BTW, here’s Swaim’s theory about how FSU will get to the B1G.

Even if that poo rumor was even remotely logical
.

It’s a lateral move financially, and a much more difficult path to the CFP playoff.

Assuming there’s any validity to that, it doesn’t seem worth it to me. They’d basically be foregoing a third of their tv revenue until 2036 (when they could walk for nothing), just to play in a league they don’t fit in with at all. I think they’d be better off trying to run the ACC, grabbing playoff births, and rebuilding their brand as a football power.

Definitely will need to add SMU and Rice to help juke the stats
