Obviously ESPN and Fox were okay with this. ESPN will sublicense to CBS, Big 12 basketball games.

CBS sports network gets very little viewership if I’m not mistaken. If the games were on CBS then that would be great.

Some of the games will be on Paramount+, so you will need to subscribe to that and ESPN+ to watch all our games.
Right, CBS Sports Network is like ESPNU but we will continue with a minimum of 6 games on CBS Broadcast Network which we did not previously have in the new contract.

Yeah hate to be a wet blanket but out of all the streaming companies I’m subscribed to Paramount+ has by far and away the worst picture quality. I hate that I’m forced to watch champion’s league games on their potato cameras. Some soccer games are simulcast on Pluto tv and I watch on Pluto every time due to the superior picture quality.
On the bright side, I’m encouraged by the Big 12’s new football partnership with Raycom. I’d much rather view games on the CW than on espn+. I find espn+ to be cumbersome to navigate.
I’m ok with CBS sports. They have pre and postgame shows, games can be dvr’d, picture quality is solid. Just saying the games won’t get much visibility on CBS sports rather than CBS. That said I’d imagine CBS sports won’t get the top games so it’s not an issue.
I do prefer CBS sports to espn+ though so this is a small victory in my book.

I have Paramount+ and have a beautiful clear picture.
It’s strange that yours would have crappy resolution.

Paramount+ I have no issues with and I enjoy their Soccer coverage, night and day better than the crap Fox puts out. Now the regular CBS app is trash.

Good thing this is basketball and we’ll get a good amount of big CBS when not on ESPN. Streaming is for tech and other mids

Thanks for the Paramount+ feedback guys. I’ll have to look into it further. I have clear pictures for every other app so you guys have given me hope that I can achieve the same with Paramount+.

What do you mean YouTube TV? Big 12 basketball games are on ESPN and CBS broadcast network this season and starting on the new contract next year, basketball games will be on ESPN, Fox and CBS.

Regular ESPN, Fox and CBS Sports won’t cover all the games. You’ll need a subscription to ESPN+ (like last season) and now also Paramount+ to see all the games.

I’m not reading where you need paramount+, as long as you have cbs sports on another service (YouTube tv for example)
You will not need a subscription to Paramount+. Games, that are aired on the CBS Broadcast channel, will also show on Paramount+ at the same time.
The new agreement of 20 games, will all be aired on CBS Sports Network. I’m sure if any of these 20 games are really good match-ups, CBS will find a place on its broadcast network.
Remember, it’s a minimum of six games aired on its broadcast network.
