Lights going out soon.

Denim Brick Jeans.

Any word of Coach Hurley rushing his team off the court and into the locker room before Jayden Quaintance could join them?

Getting the team off the court was probably the right move. Hurley not going out to shake hands was inexcusable.

ASU went full Detroit Pisons (and Boston Celtics) walking off the floor…

Tugler: 51 blocks

Quaintance, Kalkbrenner, Broome, slightly ahead in that category

In a counting stat, where those guys all play way more minutes. Of course a big reason JoJo isn’t playing more minutes is his propensity to foul…

If you look at the metrics.

BLK%
JoJo 15.8
Broome 10.3
Quaintance 10.0
Kalkbrenner 7.8

or per 100 Possesions
JoJo 6.8
Broome 5.7
Quaintance 4.9
Kalkbrenner 5.3

The closest High Major player to JoJo in Blk% is Bidunga at KS who is at 11.3%

Quite shocked Tamin made it. He has reputation and his metrics are solid enough, but if you watched him through December he was pretty wretched on the perimeter. He was poor at hedging screens and was often beat on the perimeter, which caused issues elsewhere.

The last few weeks he’s been pretty elite, with playing his first “complete” good game at ASU (where offense and defense were outstanding). Lipsey, Watson, and Jefferson are the only people playing defense with any kind of consistency for us right now.

As a player? He’s worthy. If it’s based on a season’s body of work he really shouldn’t be here. For the first two months he was a shell of the level he’s playing at now.

UCF is getting Justin’d at home

Dang Mitchell was dunking all over UCF and it looks like his ACL blew out going up for one.

Ugly and you hate to see that
