hasn’t arizona always overloaded their noncon since lloyd became the coach though
With the addition of Baba Miller, UC needs to build a better non con but I have low hopes.

They need at Least 2-3 high major games since they once again will not play in an MTE

I hope we never play NKU again. We had to because they let us borrow their arena and they made us sign a 5 year deal including 2 in their arena. Hated it.
The huge difference between my proposed starting lineup and last years is…
Celestine is a much better shooter in the big 12 then Simas who shot 29% from 3 in big 12 vs 34% from Celestine.
Haynes has far more tools in his bag than Dillon Mitchell to score, passes better and rebounds roughly the same.
Thiam is way way more versatile and better than Aziz. He can shoot, score in the post and catch lobs.
To me it’s adding 3 upgrades to 2 vets with good experience.
Now that we added baba tho. Things get really interesting as baba has 3 position versatility and size plus shooting
you rely too much on percentages, simas is a drastically better shooter than celestine… celestine is a quick trigger open shot taker… simas was taking off the dribble fadeaway offbalance 3s at high volumes becuase he had to force offense because UC couldnt score
haynes does not have far more tools than mitchell or close-- its the opposite… haynes was just a low post scorer… mitchell could 1 on1 with anyone from anywhere, he could drive from the perimeter, attack from the mid range… and score in the low post… the ONLY things he wasnt good at was shooting… i legit saw mitchell do a spin move off a screen for a switch, shake and bake the switched defender, to then do a reverse windmill to finish … haynes couldnt do that on his best day … everything haynes can do, mitchell can do, just doesnt have haynes extra 30lbs …
thiam is more versitile than aziz… but thiams 2 3-attmepts a game (At 30%) wasnt going to change any dynamics of scoring 44pt to anything major)
thats ot 3 upgrades… thats 2 downgrades - 99 out of 100 are taking mitchell over haynes… simas as a shooter is better than celestine … and 1 upgrade,
but getting baba miller makes this convo meaningless now
This Is Evan Miya’ s Big 12 Transfer Class Rankings. He hasn’t added Baba Miller yet. UC should climb in the rankings but BYU will remain at the highest spot In the big 12.
Below that is the 247 Overall big 12 rankings with Transfers and incoming freshman. Houston Rules the Day and UC falls to 4th. But overall feels like the big 12 did a great job reloading.
15 5 Star players in 247 final rankings, 6 of them are playing in the big 12, 4 in ACC, 3 to SEC, 1 to Big East and 1 to Big 10.

Shocked how wes miller keeps getting players: on the brink of being fired, put no one in the nba, kids want to play offense; his teams dont score

abaev is the xfactor- recognize most of his game outside of offense is pretty bad,and dont expect him to be consistent every game on offense, but will need him some games to take over

kansas and kstate are 100% not done … both likely have 1 or 2 big moves
kstate has an insane NIL budget , only has 9 players commited… but arent reaching out to anyone in the portal…they likely have something in the works… i know 1 big fish they are after
kansas is tied too every major draft decision player
I always say Wes Recruits like a Lion and schedules Like a lamb. I expect another soft schedule from him again which is disappointing.
I know this. I will not buy into the hype until we play real teams.
Wes has lots and lots of tools to work with. And a lot more proven talent too.
So all the pressure is on Wes to deliver this year. It’s a year truly of no excuses.

That’s the thing.
The Louisville game will be part of an MTE. Likely NIL based and then they host 2 buy games between the 2 teams as the MTE.
Wes hasn’t booked a great home & home nor an MTE in his time at UC
Not gonna lie, though… I’d trade those 30 wins for 2 natties with UCONN.

Coach Hurley is freaking good. I think the Lakers wanted him in the past for Lebum.
Yeah he’s an arse, but man he’s a good coach.
