and randoom but 3 of the top 4 scorers for canada are 3star usf commits

The difference between 3, 4 or 5 star players is often metrics and just a couple inches.

I’ll try the next U19 game. This game against New Zealand is degrading back into an all star game in the 2nd quarter lol.

Hopefully the finals are good.

Unpopular take on Koa Peat - I’m thinking will be good but not like in this U19. He needs to develop his game against good bigs he can’t jump into and overpower. He’s got the tools to do it and has time to improve before the season, but usually only a couple freshman a year are dominate so I’m guessing he won’t be.

He will have some good bigs to bang against every day in practice.

Question for Arizona will be their backcourt and overall ability from the arc.

kinda disagree… we are 1 level away from that being a conversation (the NBA level)

koa is coming into college at 235lbs of pure muscle… before a single college workout

that is more than 13 of the 16 projected pfs in the big 12…
the average PF is 215-220… the ā€œtoughā€ ones tend to be around 230-235lbs…

and here is the thing …arizona wants to use him at the 3 not the 4 … he is stronger than almost every 3 in the country… he can overpower and dominant in the college level, the NBA is where he need to change …
imo koa will dominate, similar to petterson and nate ament… becuase their teams need them too… all 3 of those teams are all defensive players with the freshmen the only high level scorer… as opposoed to a dybansta, that byu could still put up 85 if dybansta puts up 0 points

Saw where Baylor scheduled a four year H&H with Memphis. A lot of potential hate watching with that series. lol

Keba Keita is the exact same height and weight. He wasn’t bullying people in Big 12 play.

Peat will score but he’s going to need to show a more diverse offensive game in the Big 12 and their high level OOC games.

How have to add positional context
Keita is playing the 5… undersized at the 5

Keita is manhandling every 3&4 in the in the conference… and with ease …

If Keita had legit guard skills and could drive and bully in the post … do you think Gabe Madson or Caleb love is stoping him when he drives??

You are right about the profile and we are a couple of months from finding out lol.

Against Canada it did not work. He needs to show a floater and some other stuff. Maybe there are more dimensions to his game and he was told to play that way in U19. He could use a pull up jumper and a floater for sure. He’s a force.

I, for one, am looking forward to JoJo swatting everything Koa tries to put up in the lane.

Koa is a black hole once he gets the basketball. His perimter game from 3 pt line is shaky as well.

I don’t see koa playing the three but that was probably the promise they made to get him there

Retirment is overrated. Empty those accounts! Do it!!

Haha j/k

This season will be fun on TV too - even if it’s disappointing. It’s good to be must watch anyway lol.

I’m a silver cougar, and I doubt that’s enough to get me in. :man_shrugging:t3: is tempting to go to gold…

Got my first look at Sincere Harris up close today at the Smith League (ProAm summer league in Cincy).

UC fans gonna love him. One of the best most intense on ball defenders.

Could fit right in at Houston. Could end up being my favorite new addition. Shot was nice today too. Not nearly as broken as I thought

It’s a shame Wes is going to ruin this team. Bunch of good players getting offered up to the suck gods this year by him.

I can already picture his face
