Boom! #1 ranked athlete, 2026 recruit Keisean Henderson commits to Houston

Fify. :joy:

I always say UH

I like and say both. I like to write U of H. By the way in the 80’s, 90’s it was more than common to hear U of H.

UT, UM, USC, UF, UL, etc. I think U of H looks amateurish.

I always just say Houston

Like…when people say they went to Michigan, Alabama, Ohio State, Miami…etc.

The University is redundant plus ESPN always lists us as HOUSTON only

People who refer to UH as ā€œU of Hā€ are the same people who refer to Coogs as ā€œCougsā€. Man, get with the program. Its UH, and has been ever since I can remember.

Bill Worrell always says ā€œThe UofHā€. I like that.

No they are not. UofH is fine.

Go Coogs!

Makes sense. I never thought of it like that.

What are you talking about?

The #1 Power Forward, #1 Point Guard and #2 Shooting Guard just signed with us.

I like U of H , just sounds better than UH

15-20 years ago, I always heard U of H. I’ve recently been saying Houston and writing UH. I feel like there is less negative connotation associated with Houston or UH as opposed to U of H.

But honestly, I don’t think it matters either way.

I write UH but say the ā€œofā€. Pretty much everyone I know, maybe it’s an 80s 90s thing, say the ā€œofā€

Writing the ā€œofā€ā€¦ that’s weird

either or both are fine. Well read this…

finally but how many transfers we missed out on - someone got wise and stepped it up but their freshmen at the end of the day

What are you talking about?

We have LJ Cryer and Milos Uzan. Who did we miss out on?

So untrue about the amount of money received by Weigman from UH’s NIL, but don’t let that stop you. Lol
You’ve already told us the two-deep going into the fall season. Lol

Why so snarky? I never said definitively what Weigman’s NIL deal was. I simply used what the other top 10 ranked transfer portal QBs are earning in order to devise an educated guess on what it may have cost us to secure his commitment. If you happen to know at least a ballpark figure of what we actually paid him in $NIL, please, feel free to enlighten me.

I also mentioned the main reason I even created that depth chart was to simply keep track of the guys on the roster for next season. However, I began updating it w/ every new signing, which led me to adjusting the lineup based on where I ā€œTHINKā€ certain guys fit. Their previous production, level of competition, experience, injury history, & scouting reports weigh heavily in where I slot these players. It’s called a ā€œprojectionā€ my guy.

And I’ll continue to update the chart right up until kickoff next season as position battles are won/lost in spring practices & fall camp. Besides, it doesn’t take a nuclear physicist to understand that it’s too early to completely predict an accurate lineup, so I placed a higher emphasis on seniority & returning production. As well as the assumption that pretty much all of our freshmen will redshirt for a variety of reasons. That’s the most I can really go off of until spring training starts.

I don’t mean to come off as a 'know it all" if that’s what you’re getting at, but I do know quite a bit about ball. I’ve watched an unhealthy amount of film on not just this year’s recruiting class, but last year’s class as well. I’ve also watched a lot of '22-'23 Tulane, ALL of '23-'24 UH, a bit of '23-'24 Florida, & occasionally, I watch highlights from the glory days of Case Keenum, Greg Ward, & Tune.

You don’t have to agree with where I list who on the two-deep, but I wish for you to be cognizant of the fact that I’m heavily researched when when it comes to my ā€œopinionsā€. I go to games, I watch a ton of tape, I watch our coaches’ press conferences, I’m very active on X, I read a bunch of articles on these guys, & most importantly, I pay close attention to those ā€œin the knowā€.

Guys like Martin Marroquin, Parker Ainsworth, @Joprior23, @monceaux, Scott & Holman, Houston Roundball Review, Duarte, and others. I even factor in the many different opinions posted on this board. I also research details like player injury history, remaining eligibility, draft projections, 40 yd dash times, stats, bench/squat/vertical, HS Track & Field results, & scouting reports from sites like 247, On3, Dave Campbell Texas Football, etc. I then apply all of that to what CWF is building along w/ how Nagle & Armstrong like to run their respective units.

I package all of that up into an easy to read, consistently updated, color-coded, depth chart that includes a color key. I make sure small details like jersey numbers & eligibility are listed as accurately as possible; I’ve even included the walk-ons. I spend a lot of time doing the research it takes to put this together & then I share it with you all out of the goodness of my heart, only to receive your sarcasstic response -_-. I’m just a dedicated fan trying to contribute in one way or another; there’s no need for satire.
