Fast and apparently quick! That dive for the goal line pylon showed some fast twitch muscles!

Yes sir!!! I like that we are recruiting these types of players again. We were in the dark for a while with speed.

Lost both 2020 commits now.

Note: I don’t usually comment on the kids when they post this, but he chose his words poorly in this one. “There will be no love lost with the university of Houston”

Thanks for posting, I totally agree. These young kids must remember things that they put online are going to be there forever. And what we always see is that some of these things come back to haunt them. Just need to be careful.

I’m not sure he meant to come off the way it did as I think he meant to say that he’s still open to coming to UH and that he doesn’t have any hard feelings towards the University. I don’t think he realizes what the phrase he used usually means.

I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt since he’s saying that he’s still looking forward to meeting our staff.

Totally agree. That’s one of the problems with writing things out is that things can be misinterpreted just because of tone, verbiage, etc. It’s just like on here, how many times have we seen arguments or misunderstandings just because of interpretation.

Same here, the dichotomy in the verbiage there made me also second guess the latter part of his statement.

I agree. I don’t think he understands what the term “no love lost” means. It’s not consistent with the earlier part of his statement in which he states he looks forward to meeting the new coaching staff.

Or maybe he does know what it means. Maybe he was told to start looking elsewhere. Maybe he got butt hurt.

Well the implication in his statement is that he hasn’t met with the new staff at all. Now I mean he could’ve been dumped via text, in which case that’s not the worst way in the world to handle it.

But in general the tone isn’t consistent with a bad split. Which is why most of us are willing to believe he misused the phrase. Because for the most part, it sounds a lot like the kid wants to reevaluate his recruitment after a new staff has come in.

But to be fair, I have no clue. You could be 100% right on this one, your guess is as really as good as mine.

Please respect his decision.

Will he be holding a press conference?

I don’t think this is the case. Kid is only 17, so he may not know what that phrase actually means. That would be harsh to a school he plans to visit in the future.

Dana is smart. He wouldn’t tell a recruit that is faster than Tyron Carrier and Anthony Alridge to look elsewhere.
