That man put in brutal hours and sacrificed his social life to lead this team to success.
Other than Ima, eye doc and myself no one else did their part, I donāt care if you have season tix, donated, etc.

Haha itās all good.
I enjoyed all of my ENGL minor-related courses at UH, and felt that I really learned a lot.
I was fortunate to have professors that were really passionate for the subject. Sadly, most complained that the made too little as adjunct professors, and had to take side gigs (before the āGig Economyā was really a thing here in HOU) as contributing writers for the Houston Press, Swamplot, etc.
This was back in 2012-2014.

I LOVED my 2 ENGL classes at UH back in the 80ā s. There was just something poignant about studying that heavy stuff, then going to watch Clyde The Glide, Akeem The Dream, Larry Michaeux, Michael Young, Rob Williams, Benny Anders et al showing me what real life poetry was likeā¦

The last really nasty bunch we had was the team that beat Nebraska in the Cotton Bowl. I knew a couple of those guys. They LIKED hurting people.
