BOOM! Conner Weigman commits to Houston!

Conner was lights out against LSU. He showed up big time. His throws were on the money

Some still think Kei is starting day 1…

In this day of multi-million $ contracts it’s my opinion that coaches & players, especially football & basketball, can deal with some messageboard trash talking…

That’s some funny :poop:

I love it when people get called out. Gives some responsibility. But i don’t know anything…

His problem while at aTm was that he was at aTm. It was sort of like hitching a thoroughbred to a plow. Once in a system suited for his abilities, he blossomed.

I’m not a fan of being a gotcha guy, but a simple 3 minute search and read on google led me to this article on Weigman.

You would think we’re mature and intelligent enough to resist firing from the hip when so much information is at our fingertips.

In other words, it’s sad when cousins marry and have offspring.

My Aggie friend at church said ā€œcould we get Conner backā€

A&M has always been a place where QB’s go to die.

How was i to know aggie wouldnt allow him to run because he might get hurt? His rushing yards for them is verified…He did NO running as an aggie…

So your conclusion from a stat line and a scheme is that the player loses the skill? If a QB has a cannon for an arm but runs a triple option offense, does that mean he can’t throw?

It was his injury. But he was always listed a dual threat even in High School.

My conclusion from a stat like that is since he didnt run at all for them, maybe he couldnt run…a couple of years into college is not same as who he was in HS.

lol that’s funny. At the end of the day, A&M scored only 3 pts in their playoff bowl game loss.

So far, the two former Aggie QBs looked better in their bowl games than A&M’s QB did

The scheme to not run is definitely there in AggieLand. I thought Marcel Reed had 4-5 opportunities to run and get the first down in Miami game but he passed instead resulting in an incompletion or INT.

That seems like coaching may be superseding the instincts which isn’t always a good thing. Aggies suck at developing QBs.

I said that to the couple sitting behind me at the game Saturday. We score 38 and aggies score 3 whole points in a CFB game. There are a ton of aggies that had to wince when they saw our game.

Maybe they should start one of these guys at QB…

… seriously, wtf is in the water at College Station?

Agreed! Their coaching and schemes create more problems for them than who they play. How they continue to do less with more is remarkable…
