Harwell comes from a good family and is grounded. I love the pool scene where Harwell is exercising with senior citizens. Definitely a Sampson-type player.
CKS can wait for the right fit, if a good kid comes along, talented and a good upbringing and family, he is all in. Add in the culture he creates with winning with hard work and D, it is amazing how kids are buying in. Not the norm, they have to be from a hard working family. It is exciting to see Houston is the place these guys want to be at, hopefully Kellen can continue that trend.
Harwell tore his ACL in early January of this year, causing him to miss the AAU summer season.
He said he should be fully cleared in November to play.
Interesting interview, hope sales pick up for the A&M Charity Game because he will be in town.
Sounds like he has been in contact with Peat, Flemings, and Clark about playing together as well.
@HRReview mentioned Harwell participated in the Wootten 150 camp
Paul Biancardi, Recruiting Director for ESPN, listed Harwell as one of the standouts of the camp:
Might have?
Somebody needs to let him know how it is.
Does he have enough credits to join us in the Spring?
No, does not… wish he did
I guess he’ll be attending the exhibition
What about Flemings??
Man, our arena looks so tiny from that angle.
93-6 in Fertitta Center - I think it suits UH just fine.
Isn’t it the case that FC cannot be expanded without a total rebuild? Like you can’t physically get to 10k+
Would be nicer to be closer to 10k, which the program can accommodate.
Texas Tech collapse in FB yesterday.
Kingston in attendance today.
Not a good 24 hours for the Red Raiders
There is space next door in the parking lot and that old building.
Fanta over at field of 68 says we have one of the best arenas in the country. And is the one he enjoys coming to the most.
