Boom! Peyton Dunn commits 6’7 315 pound guard. ULM transfer

He’s 6-2 and 300 pounds, how is that small? BTW, shorter guys can get leverage on taller guys.

I resemble that remark :sunglasses:

I was listed at 6’4 in college. I certainly was not. Just watching him he looks a little small for Guard. Just my thought. Plus Jack has already spent time at Guard

At 5-6 (actually I have shrunk to 5ft 5 1/2 in) I am an expert on shortness.

No way I’m even checking mine.

One of the few times in my life where I truly believe ignorance is bliss. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

That is true. I haven’t seen that height and weight depth wise here.

I like him at Center, but it would be awesome if the coaches thought Pancake was close enough to his level they felt confident moving him to guard because I think thats where we are weakest. Thats what I was trying to say

“ One of the priorities for Virginia Tech in this spring transfer portal wave is to add an offensive lineman with one of the Hokies’ targets being UL Monroe’s starting left guard Peyton Dunn. The Hokies have already gained traction with Dunn as he told us.

Dunn has set two visits so far with plans to visit Virginia Tech this upcoming weekend followed by a visit to Houston the weekend after. He added that he’s also been receiving interest from Stanford, Louisville, Maryland, Northwestern, and Appalachian State since entering the transfer portal at the opening of this portal window this weekend.”

Beating out VT, Stanford, Louisville, Maryland, Northwestern for a OL is big

yes, but that doesn’t support a popular narrative.

I think our O line is going to be as good as last years if not better. Especially if Tyler Johnson develops into what we think he will be.

Does anyone else think they are bemoaning our NIL $$.

What is the narrative?

He might be waiting till he gets some playing time and demonstrates his worth at the big 12 level.

I expect them to all be back in contention for his services next year.

Coach Naghavi recruited him out of high school

You’re either new or playing dumb. You were able to type your reply, seems to me you can do your own reading.

I didn’t get it either. Can we really say there’s a popular narrative, then tell somebody if you don’t know it to go read. There could be a bunch of real or imagined “popular narratives” on Coogfans. Which one are we referring to?

True.

This. There are a lot of different posts. What specifically is he referring to? That the Oline will be bad? I didn’t even know that was a narrative. @kfd91

Get on it. Don’t be lazy.
