Saw this article and made me wonder. What is it that you all do, if anything, for brain fitness? Or to put it another way, what do you do that you think or feel keeps you mentally sharp?

I also do the NYT word puzzle games (Wordle, Connections, Strands, mini crossword, and midi crossword). My brain can only handle the Mon - Wed big crossword puzzles.

I do some of the Dailymail games and the free games on NYT. I was turned on to the NYT games by the Lonely Island and Seth Meyers Podcast, Andy Sandberg gets Queen Bee most days with no hints, they talk about it on every episode of their podcast
I’m taking courses in French, Italian, and Chess. When I finish one of the language courses I will take up Portuguese.
Read a plethora of books on different subjects that interest me (to give me the motivation to finish them).

Tried learning other Languages, like Italian & (European) Portuguese, but lost motivation on those.
old time coog is really doing the right things mentally. languages and game are best; cards is actually really good. of course you also have to exercise and eat right. ironically, many of the foods that are good for you pain are also good are reducing potential for cancer. turmeric, blueberries are just a couple off the top of my head.
