Just got home and hooked my phone up to a charger.
Some thoughts
— refs were hot garbage both ways. I have never seen anything like the booing I saw from BYU fans. Entire tv timeouts in the fourth.

— Rogers is a great coach
— BYU learned a lot this week in prep for next week. Maybe played with their food a little bit, but learned a lot
— ISU is a blue collar squad who may be a little under sized, but will outwork you. They make a bowl game for sure.
— running back performance didn’t cut it for BYU
I am very optimistic going into next week.

Yeah they are proving the RB still matters A LOT. I didn’t need BYU to prove that this season lol.
It’s Bear with his legs and arm as the only hope for scoring for a while.
I was impressed with Iowa State a lot. I know I’ve said it but this late in the cycle total reload is rare.

The thing about Friday night games, it’s all under a microscope for the country to see. No other games going on in the Big 12, all eyes on you. ISU put up a valiant effort but BYU is a very solid team, top to bottom. The stable of RBs was what impressed me, and Bear is the real deal. He’s a Conner Weigman +50 pounds.

The path to bowl is probably a little harder than it sounds, or it should be. The schedule they got worked out to be legitimately pretty tough. Already played 3 ranked teams, probably underdogs the next 3, too.
The silver lining is we maybe get a favorable schedule next year or two when Rogers gets his guys.

Yeah, for sure. that’s nothing new and never gonna change. It doesn’t even really bother me anymore, it’s just the baseline in the conference.
