Gasser originally committed and played for New Mexico out of High School. Last year as a freshman for the Lobos, he pitched in 21 games, made 11 starts, threw 52.1 IP, and had a 2-4 record with a 7.05 ERA. He walked 27 and K’d 52. This year, he will be attending and playing for San Juaquin Delta College.
Gasser is originally from El Dorado Hills, CA and Perfect Game ranked him as the 388th best player in California his senior year, and the 38th best LHP.
Over at Delta, four more Mustangs from the squad’s 2018 state championship run have signed on to four-year universities.
