I’ll be at the game, flying out Thursday. Sedona was something I wanted to do, but rental cars are still pretty high right now. Might hit up Scottsdale….

Sedona is great. There are some cool hikes closer to town like Camelback if you can’t get a rental.

Great job Coogs. Beat asu!

Our offense is really starting to click. We are taking care of the ball, running it, passing it and keeping our QB better protected. Unfortunately our defense has started to leak a little bit and Arizona only threw 2 incompletions all day the only thing that held back Arizona’s offense was our own offense going on slow methodical drives. If our defense can draw up a better game plan next week, clean up the tackling, then I think we’ll have a good chance to pull off the win

asu is unbeaten at home, took out byu there last year and grabbed at cfp seat, seems they have a real advantage there; coogs going to need some turnovers imo.

Anyone in the Big 12 is beatable

Headed down Friday morning from Flagstaff. 89A drive never gets old. Those of you coming in for the game, take TucsonCoog suggestion and come up to Northern Arizona.

Looking forward to meeting fellow Coogs Friday evening and the game Saturday. It will be a challenging game but I am so encouraged with our week to week improvement. Hoping Stephon Johnson is available. Need all hands on deck.

Anything is possible. We are officially in a knife fight in the dark conference.

Probably one of the five toughest games since we’ve been in the conference. They are gonna use the tape on our secondary and linebackers. I hope our D is completely different Saturday.

I don’t put any importance on what our opponents did against other schools. This game will be won at the LOS.

Yes, especially if coogs don’t beat coogs…

thought asu would have the red a$$ if they had lost to tech…hopefully they will be emotionaly spent and we can jump on 'em.

Both ASU and UH come off emotional, last second wins. It will be interested to see which team is better prepared mentally. If either team carries Saturday’s celebration into this week, they should be in trouble. ASU and UH have good coaches that will preach a “one-game-at-a-time” mentality, but if one team gets a little too self-confident, it they can be beat. With ASU playing at home, the likelihood of over-confidence is greater with ASU than with UH.

They also beat a team we lost to and are ranked. They’ll probably be favored by a touchdown, or more.

What is the line on the game?

I would put it at 7.5

Tech isn’t good without QB1 on the field. We had the tech game close the first half, but they beat us without our QB1 on the field second half. There’s not a lot to learn about Arizona State from those comparisons.

We are able to control the clock? We have a great chance to win. What matters most right now is that we are improving. Our OL is in synch with our offense. We are starting to see some outstanding “anticipation” reads. Mr. Spencer Tilman had a great saying about Conner: “He has sweet feet”
That starts with everyone thinking the same way. We keep throwing fast passes and making quick runs it will sapp the life out of you.
Quick note on the AZ heat vs Houston heat. Having played in both environment the AZ heat is much more manageable until it gets to 115. It won’t get to 115 and far from it. For our guys this will be a plus. ASU has an outstanding running offense. IMO, this is where the game will be decided on.
For the ones that have never been to Tempe keep in mind that Playboy magazine used to rate ASU as the biggest party campus. Its a great environment. Let’s spoil it to them. They have redone their stadium and is now much more 21st century.
You love golf? Make it a three day weekend. It will still be hot but Troon North or the WM Stadium course are outstanding, Mirabelle and many others too. Troon is headquartered in Scottsdale all of their area courses are awesome.
You like a trip to the mountains?
Go to Flagstaff or Williams.
Love to learn more about American Nations?
Go to Tuba City, home museum of the Navajo Code Talkers. Apache Nation? Go east toward New Mexico.
Want to learn more about how copper is made? Go to Morenci or Bisbee.
If you can push it to the Four Corners and run where Forest Gump did by Monument Valley. Arizona is very diverseand is much more than a desert.
P-S: it is illegal to bring back a wild Saguaro cactus. Don’t be that guy.
Sedona is great but it has become way too “Orange County” California. Great scenery and drive but way, way over priced.
You want to stay in the Navajo nation like Tuba City or Kayenta? Keep in mind that these are dry areas.
Ahehee, means Thank You in the Dine, Navajo language.

We’d need play mistake free. Zero turnovers. Limit penalties.

That a tough ask, on the road, against a good team.

Could say the same about AZ State…

I like our chances…

8.5 just came out.

According to the computers at espn we have a 72% chance of losing.

Also we are favored in 1 more game (WV). If we don’t win at least 2 of 5 we will have a rough go at attendance next year.

I hear what you are saying, but geez I would like to see our fans go to home games
