Doesn’t the canopy block any wind that may cool the stadium? If it rains, it would be a sauna.

What I was thinking, go to the west end, under the big score board, for the nice breezes. That canopy would make a nice sauna if there is ever a 2 or 3 p.m. start in September

The outer shell of the stadium is a mesh type of shell which lets air in… plus air would still come in from the top.

Realistically, couldn’t a sail type system work for shade and relatively inexpensive, let air in, look cool and easy to take down. Not sure of the support the lights system currently has but it might work.
The arial shots will look like a butthole.
My Austin/San Antonio/Dallas buddies will love this, as they often refer to Southeast Texas as the crotch of Texas.

Am I the only one that doesn’t want this? This thing would be an oven, they would have to install some sort of AC system.
