I last entered Hofheinz when my daughter walked the stage there in Dec 2013. Renu gave the commencement address that day. The place really went downhill over the years.

I am very much surprised by that line. Would have expected it to be closer to -7.5 or -8.5. I can see ISU putting 90 on Baylor’s defense.

Iowa State is 3-18 all time in Waco. It’s been a house of horrors. (nothing else bad has ever happened in Waco at least tho, right?)
However, looking at the metrics and doing some quick math, ISU should be about 14 points better than Baylor on a neutral. Give them 3 for home court advantage, even as much as 5.5 with the historical context…
Then I’d say you’re about right. 8.5 would be the number, 7.5 pessimistically. So -3.5 is the right bet IMO.
This makes me think Vegas sees ISU is slumping a bit, better now than late tho…and of course Baylor is an NBA team now! (ISU not been as crisp their last 5 games. Haven’t played a whole game once… but it hasn’t mattered because their good is just that good)
I would be a little surpised if ISU played an A game randomly in Waco tho after 5 B- or less games.

The video is insane. Mostly because the crowd celebrated in real time and then celebrated again with videos on scoreboard. They must’ve had another angle because I saw nothing to overturn the call. It was as tight as I’ve ever seen.
