Flemings with Jeffersons off ball defense worries me…a lot.
Its all about our defense. If we continue to pick poor spots on the floor to double, and if Jefferson contfinues to play cavalier off-ball defense, it will be trouble. The doubles will be (easily) beat, and Flemings will create an utter s-storm, with lane penetration/layups, and kickouts to wide open shooters. The made shots will keep us out of transition, and allow Houston to set up its half court defense. That cycle will not be good for us.
technically KC is a neutral but playing iowa state or kansas in the b12 tourney is gonna be a road game too

That’s fair and that’s how he’s been stopped for 2 straight years.
Fwiw, he knows that, we know that. And it’s all he’s been working on. He’s a junior.
It’s never been physical, he’s 6’8 and he’s always been nails no matter how good or poor the look is…it’s always been mental. Just keep that in mind.
These guys are extremely streaky, but plenty capable. Kind of depends on the day and whether the matchup is insurmountable on that day.
