Maybe building rosters with the right guys matter versus just chasing the most talented with $. Prob still lose a few guys but not like this in the middle of a solid season.

I mean. Someone from this conference is going to go the playoffs. Thatâs a fact.
Whether you like it or not, it matters to all of us.
The money at stake is a good portion of what your whole AAC media rights payout was. That even effects your basketball program.
One of of these teams is going to represent. Youâre not a passive observer anymore. Whether the Coogs Win or lose. Maybe ISU or someone else didnât impress you this week or last. But itâs a long season. These things play out over a looooong period of time.
The top team(s) play for all of us. Remember that.

I wouldnât put it past Gator boosters to be behind this, get them off the roster with NIL $ right before they play UF. Remember, NIL is tied to nothing so it can be who you DONâT play for too.

Yeah our #1 CB Jontez Williams who just made that pick? He was the 248th ranked recruit out of the state of Flordia. His only other scholarship offer was Tennessee Tech (idk who that is)
But he is unquestionably the top dog in our cornerback room. The 2 other CBs who he beat out will likely play on Sundays next year. They are both on Kiperâs big board

(Side note: heâs the one who picked off that ill advised wheel route pass into the end zone when #6 Malik Carr was wide open in the end zone. Watch Big 12 football.)

Yeah that redshirt rule is not conducive to the NIL era. I dont think it helps any Big 12 team objectively.
Weâre not going to win any bidding wars for any of these guys. Let alone the fact that most wont even pan out. Thereâs bound to be so many overpaid bad fits.

Edit: so is UCF. I was expecting a much closer game. I guess there is still time but the Knights havenât really shown much.

UH with their first win in Big 12 will be ahead of winless Baylor, Kansas or Arizona State, and Oklahoma State. Lets go! wasnt expected UH to be ahead of OSU at this point in the season
