Cincy opening thoughts

I go to Krogers to buy the cans and make Cincinnati Chilli all the time with Oyster Crackers…there I said it !

You are wrong …Utah wins out (which gives BYU 2nd loss) and TT loses one more…we win out / three way tie for 2nd we go to championship game …not that far fetched

If I’m bored I’ll dot count later today, but so far it looks better than I expected.

Tech would need to lose two more.

Glad you aren’t the Coog beat writer lol

Welp we are giving a lot of tickets away so there’s that. I have no problem with that.

Giving away tickets is a lot less embarrassing than a half empty stadium.

I would expect someone who chastised others about how they talk about attendance to describe it as “half-full.”

Thanks for making people stay home this week.

Try harder to pick nits and start something that ain’t there. Post made no sense.

I made a comparison of two hypotheticals and opined about which one was worse.

We haven’t had a half empty stadium in a long time and I certainly didn’t “describe” any of our games as half empty. Sheesh!

The whole point of my post was that I have no problem with giving away tickets, nothing more nothing less.

So sensitive.

Okay

ALL the way back to a month ago from today, 10/03

Ya know, back in my season ticket holder days, I often had trouble giving away extra tickets to “casual” sports fans. The response was usually “it’s not a PRO game,” or something to that effect. A lot of people, especially “casual” sports fans, have a clear preference for the NFL over the college game.

That said, I had no trouble giving them away at a tailgate or at the stadium on gameday.

Link?

On 10/3 we “announced” attendance of 25K.

This means the actual attendance was most likely 20K or less.

Our stadium seats about 40K.

Yeah, that qualifies as a “half empty” stadium.

Sure. What search engine do you use?

Nope

If BYU, Tech, and Houston all have 2 Conference losses, the head to head is not considered.

They go to common opponents, and HOUSTON would win out.

Neither BYU, nor Tech will have a win against someone Houston lost to, and Houston WOULD have a Win against a team both BYU and Tech lost to.

It may seem counterintuitive, but that’s the way the Big12 decides it.

Let’s hope that WE win out, and that all the other standings are resolved in our favor!
