Ed, Jackson III, Bowser, Roberts could make a good taste. If nothing else, they’re proof that if you have the talent, you won’t get overlooked because you play for UH.
100% agree. I was specifically thinking about the highly touted recruits out of HS. Those other guys were certainly great and have made names for themselves in the pros, but none of them were highly regarded out of HS, at least not that I remember. I want more 5 stars to consider us because Ed, who will end up being a top 5 draft pick, saw fit to do so and it worked out just fine for him.
I think if he expresses to the media that you can be a Coog and be drafted high, they will listen. Then, if we can get two or more sought-after recruits rather quickly, and get them drafted, the results will speak for themselves. Then the country will know the real H-Town Takeover has begun.
