And yes, both of those last two offers are RBs at the same New Orleans High School. No wonder they won the Louisiana state title last year.

Lol thanks Pray, I was about to ask. Besides these two being from the same high school, Iâm noticing more and more recruits from Louisiana. I like what CMA is doing. Some of these three and four star players that get overlooked and forgot about at LSU, Alabama, etc. may feel shunned and we are able to pick them up as a diamond in the rough.
Weâve always hit Louisiana heavily and itâs such an untapped state with LSU being the only blue-blood there.
We basically seem to be hitting a nice recruiting bed along I-10 from San Antonio to New Orleans and then along I45 to Dallas. Lot of good athletes in that area.

Thanks Pray, would you say that the numbers look about the same as the past? I know that we have recruited in Louisiana in the past but it seems so much more prominent now. Maybe itâs just more noticeable with your updates and other social media.
We always hit it a bunch all the way up through Levine. Herman came in and tried to focus more on Texas, although, Stevenson and Singleton are from there so he didnât give it up completely. Of course, now we know why he was focusing on TexasâŠ
CMA is from Louisiana and our OL coach last year, Scelfo, was coach at Tulane for a long time so we had some ties there last year. This year, Lamar Morgan, our new Safeties coach, was pulled from ULL and grew up in the state. Considering so many schools try to hit Houston, it would be insane not to try to get over there and pick a few guys off from time to time. LSU can only take so many and a lot of the 3 stars in the state fly under the radar because most schools hit the state trying to catch the big fish. Plus, Tulane isnât really seen as an option sometimes and a few of the kids are swayed by the city of Houston.
I think we should pick up 2-5 kids from Louisiana every year. Every once in awhile weâll run into issues like with Bryan Jones as Louisiana has some funky academics, but if you can get them into school, theyâre usually pretty good.
