Oh is this the thread we’re fighting in now, I thought the ā€œCovid yearā€ thread was today’s fighting thread.

Said the hypocrite with the brown shirt username.

Yep let’s stay out of politics like you just did.
Back to recruiting the Agy will most likely sign the No1 class

There’s a difference between having a reason and giving a fraudulent reason, sir. I don’t hang out with frauds of any type, especially the ones who make a public spectacle of hugging the flag.

Who hasn’t hugged an American flag?

People who respect it.

The Lives of Others is a pretty good movie to watch and reflect on what is happening now. I watched it in theater and on Prime Video but it can be found elsewhere. Really hit home to those had experienced the similar situation.

Please explain in great detail how that movie relates in any way what’s going on in this thread.

One nation, under Coog, with football and basketball for all!

The Facebook algorithms must be doing a good job at keeping y’all from arguing on there…

And who of those with fraudulent reasons are making a public spectacle of themselves hugging the flag as if their love for it supersedes any regard for personal comfort or safety? That’s where the hypocrisy lies for at least one. But that just goes with the territory of personifying fraudulence unending for that great patriot.

Per the period, many who did avoid serving by going abroad or submitting fraudulent reasons did at least make public outcry and demonstration against the war, justifiably. They just didn’t sit at home nursing off of dad’s teat in silence and then turn around and hug the flag in the public square.

Hugging the flag or burning the flag it makes no difference, it’s only a symbol. Using it for self promotion is a disgrace to the flag and those who served especially when the self-promoting hugger didn’t. The message has been clear and understood ongoing regarding those who drape themselves in the flag. I think those adhering to flag protocol would have an opinion.

I love my country and I’ll hug the flag to show it if I want to.
When did hugging become a sign of disrespect?

Please specify the hearsay and speculation. Haven’t seen JB hugging a flag.

I mean, yeah I’ve hugged one, but I never went ā€œall the wayā€ with one. Never even made out with one. Especially not in public. That’s just creepy.
