Lamar after getting destroyed in the WAC for 1 year, is going back to the Southland where they probably have a better chance to win

Lamar isnt Sam Houston, Stephanie F, Abilene Christian quality.

Kind of surprising giving it just one year. In BB you can begin to build with one decent player each year. How do you recruit now at a lower level?

The WAC imploded. Chicago State quit the league. Sam and NM State got a call up to CUSA. I think Southern Utah joined the Big Sky.

The issue is 6 of those schools don’t currently play football.

If I’m Lamar, I’d much rather play McNeese, SeLa, and NW State than Incarnate Word, Utah Tech, and Tarleton.
