Collgiate Revenue sharing--July 2025

Yeah, but for the effort he puts into covering UH, it probably should be free. He writes like he’s volunteering articles for The Greensheet.

Teams (Alabama) with a nice under the table/bag man system: Cap? What cap?

Appreciate the input kfd, i knew i could count on ya.

Edit: it lets me know for sure you don’t keep up w or read his daily info he puts out on UH Coogs. But back to subject at hand.

Well, true on one part but you pretending that he hasn’t been at this for some time now is telling Jesse “Joe” Duarte

So it sounds like UH will fully share funds of $20M with athletes.

Not going to throw thread off in get into JD doesn’t do this or that…for me he covers the Coogs everyday n provides majority of the info i need if not all. It usually goes back to fans not able to read articles on daily basis or more even… " I hate the Chronicle " … so JD no good. I get it… t9 ea it’s own. For total of 1.00 of 6 months readership, i choose the latter.

wonderful use of strawman. move on back to your self love JD

JD and Ryan are best in the ground sources for UH content. Ryan gives more and can be less filtered.

I appreciate the work he does covering Sports for the University I’ve followed very closely for over 55+ yrs. That’s it!

So we’re fully funding the first year. But how does that put us at a disadvantage in the long run. It cant be that much difference. Maybe a few hundred dollars per athlete

I’ll take the guy at Paper City over JD any day. I’d take Sellers over JD too (although not recently)

So are we a big boy now?

We will find out soon.

At least no one should post negative comments about UH only doing 5 mil or wow our number is low compared to such and such schools.

We did have a string where some turned it into negativity. Coogfans is good at morphing most anything into a negative. Lol

i think papercity has the best articles

There is a ton more to this story:

All Div 1 sports programs are being affected.
This will have a direct results and a major influx of athletes going DII, JC’s. This is especially true in sports like track and field.

For " Soft Pillow Talk " stories I agree. But for your daily more indepth info on the goings on within the UH Athletic programs, you’re missing out on bunch if that’s all you use for info.

They’re excellent!

Since the University has subsidized the athletic department forever, is there any real significance to this new way of funding ?
